Regression

The day started off okay with Noah going #2 a bit (without warning before or acknowledgment after, so the behavior needs help). So, the doctor said he could move up to soft foods. He was also taken off the IV and blood oximeter last night. However, after eating jello for breakfast, Noah threw up everything. Later, he got a slight fever and an elevated pulse. The doctor decided he had been moving too quickly (in his diet) and put him back on clear liquids. Noah is barely drinking or eating. Not a big concern (yet), but it seems to mean that his system needs more time to heal. Maybe we'll be here longer than planned. We'll see.

Please keep praying, especially that God would change Noah's heart to think about more than just himself and how he can get attention (a long-standing issue, not something new -- Zoë needs the same change).

All in all, though, things are going pretty well. This has been the easiest hospitalization yet, although still not without stress.

Thanks,
Josh

It sounds like things are looking up. I pray that things will continue to get better and easier, in every area...
